Cape town: Malaysia's men's hockey team concluded their 2025-2026 International Hockey Federation (FIH) Nations Cup campaign on a high note, securing a 4-2 victory against Scotland to claim fifth place in Cape Town, South Africa.

The team extended their lead in the second quarter with a field goal by Muhammad Azrai Aizad Abu Kamal in the 19th minute.
Scotland mounted a comeback in the third quarter, with Jamie Golden scoring in the 32nd minute, followed by David Nairn leveling the score in the 44th minute.
