Malaysia, Saudi Arabia To Sign Defence Cooperation Agreement

Kuala lumpur: Malaysia and Saudi Arabia are set to sign a defence cooperation agreement during Defence Minister Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin's working visit to the kingdom beginning today. Mohamed Khaled revealed plans for several memoranda of understanding involving Malaysian defence industry companies to be signed.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Mohamed Khaled stated in a Facebook post that he is scheduled to hold a bilateral meeting with Saudi Defence Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman Al Saud. The discussions are expected to focus on enhancing defence ties between the two nations.

Further, Mohamed Khaled will attend the World Defense Show (WDS) 2026, scheduled to run from February 8 to 12 in Riyadh. This international event is anticipated to provide a platform for industry players to explore collaboration opportunities.
