Malaysia Calls for Dialogue Amid India-Pakistan Tensions

Kuala Lumpur: Malaysia is expressing increasing concern over the rise in tensions between India and Pakistan, emphasizing the importance of calm and dialogue, as stated by the Malaysian Foreign Ministry.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Malaysia is urging both countries to exercise maximum restraint and to restore channels of communication. Despite the tense situation, the ministry highlighted that diplomacy is the most reliable path away from crisis.

Malaysia is also reiterating Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim’s call for a comprehensive investigation into the April 22 attack in Pahalgam, aiming to bring any remaining perpetrators to justice. Furthermore, Malaysia reaffirms its support for initiatives focused on de-escalation and fostering meaningful dialogue between the two nations.
