Kuala Lampur:The anticipated signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Malaysia and France is set to boost efforts toward a cleaner and more sustainable future, according to Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, the announcement followed a courtesy call by French Ambassador to Malaysia Marc Abensour at the Parliament building. The discussions focused on strategic measures to enhance bilateral ties, particularly in the areas of energy transition and renewable energy.
Fadillah highlighted France's expertise in green technologies as a valuable asset to support Malaysia's energy transition agenda. He mentioned that the MoU would be the initial step in this collaboration.
Fadillah also expressed optimism about the continued strengthening of cooperation between the two countries, emphasizing the potential benefits from shared expertise, technology, and investment opportunities.
