Johor bahru: The Malaysian Armed Forces (MAF) holds the space, authority, and necessary collaboration to execute extensive training operations in Johor, affirmed Tunku Mahkota Ismail Sultan Ibrahim, the Regent of Johor.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, Tunku Mahkota Ismail emphasized the crucial role of such training in bolstering operational readiness, improving capabilities, and honing the skills vital for safeguarding the nation's safety and sovereignty. He assured continuous support from the Johor Royal Institution and the state government for these initiatives.
Tunku Mahkota Ismail stated his steadfast support for the MAF, underscoring the importance of acknowledging the sacrifices, dedication, and services of military personnel in defending the country. His remarks were shared on the official Facebook page of HRH Crown Prince of Johor.
The Regent highlighted that military personnel must not encounter unnecessary hurdles in carrying out essential training and operational exercises. He called for unbiased treatment across all units and regiments, affirming that all service members deserve utmost respect and recognition for their honour, loyalty, and sacrifice.
Tunku Mahkota Ismail's support extends beyond active service members to include retired or soon-to-be-retired personnel, with Johor welcoming them as a gesture of gratitude for their significant contributions to the nation.
Additionally, the National Security Council (MKN) announced that MAF military training would proceed in close cooperation with state governments and relevant agencies. This collaboration aims to ensure the training operations are orderly, safe, and aligned with national security interests and public welfare.
