LPPKN and Monsta Collaborate to Highlight Fathers’ Role Through Animation

Kuala lumpur: The National Population and Family Development Board (LPPKN) has partnered with local animation company MONSTA to mark Father's Day 2026 by emphasizing the significant role fathers play in family life.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, LPPKN announced that the collaboration utilizes the popularity of the animated character Papa Zola to deliver family-oriented messages in a creative and engaging manner that resonates with audiences of all ages. This initiative aligns with the National Father's Day celebration's goals of strengthening family bonds and increasing awareness of the importance of close family relationships.

MONSTA Media director Faiz Zainal Abidin highlighted that Papa Zola, while often depicted humorously, embodies a father dedicated to his family. He noted that the character reflects values of love and family responsibility that relate closely to everyday life. "We hope this collaboration with LPPKN will deliver positive messages to more families in conjunction with Father's Day," he remarked in the statement.

As part of the initiative, "Papa Zola The Movie" will be shown in selected cinemas across the nation from June 11 to 30. This screening offers families an opportunity to spend time together while appreciating themes of courage, responsibility, and a father's love.
