Kampung bukit terendak: The Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia (LHDN) has allocated RM500,000 from a Ministry of Finance fund to implement several projects for the benefit of residents in Kampung Bukit Terendak under the MADANI Adopted Village Programme (KAM).

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the projects funded by LHDN include the development of Kampung Bukit Terendak Recreation Park, equipping the community hall, and providing hospital beds and wheelchairs for community use. The recreation park offers a space for leisure and recreational activities accessible to people of all ages, including children, youths, families, and senior citizens.

The newly completed projects were officially handed over during LHDN's recent visit to Kampung Bukit Terendak, where they inspected the facilities provided under KAM. The visit included LHDN's Corporate Services director, Shahrul Niza Bishahrin, and Melaka state director, Datuk Mohd Shahriz Ramli.

LHDN also took the opportunity to engage with local residents to gather feedback on community needs and ensure the initiatives continue to serve the population effectively. Community activities organized during the visit included aerobics sessions, health screenings, activities for children, a Malaysia Day colouring competition, and the presentation of LHDN Prihatin contributions.

KAM, introduced under Budget 2024, adopts a whole-of-government approach that involves collaboration among ministries, government agencies, local authorities, and community leaders. This initiative is designed to enhance access to essential and community facilities while addressing the development needs of targeted villages.
