Late Mohd Radzi Was A Committed, People-Centred Youth Leader – Wan Rosdy

Bentong: The late Mohd Radzi Rahimi was a committed youth leader who was dedicated to serving the people and always put the community first, said Pahang UMNO Liaison Committee chairman Datuk Seri Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Wan Rosdy, who is also the Pahang Menteri Besar, expressed that Mohd Radzi's passing was a significant loss not only to his family but also to the Maran UMNO division, the Pahang UMNO Youth movement, and the Pahang UMNO Liaison Committee. He shared his sentiments in a Facebook post, lamenting the news of the tragic incident involving Mohd Radzi, affectionately known as Edy Radzi, who died following a tree-falling incident in Bentong.

The incident also took the lives of Nuriani Mohammad Jafri, her son Muhammad Rizz Hazim, and her younger brother Mohammad Nizam. Wan Rosdy extended his deepest condolences to the bereaved families on behalf of the Pahang UMNO Liaison Committee, wishing them strength and patience during this difficult time.

Additionally, UMNO Youth chief Datuk Dr Muhammad Akmal Saleh conveyed his condolences to Mohd Radzi's family, hoping that Allah SWT would forgive his sins, accept his good deeds, and grant him eternal rest.

The media earlier reported that four individuals lost their lives, and a child was injured when the four-wheel-drive vehicle they were in was crushed by a fallen tree along the old Kuala Lumpur-Bentong road near Janda Baik, Bentong.
