Kuala lumpur: Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof is set to undergo heart bypass surgery at the National Heart Institute (IJN) in the near future, following the recommendation of his medical team.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the confirmation came today through a statement by Datuk Misiah Taib, Fadillah's press secretary. Fadillah, who also serves as the Minister of Energy Transition and Water Transformation (PETRA), is currently in stable condition. Medical advice has directed him to rest fully and avoid visitors to ensure uninterrupted recovery and treatment.

The family of Fadillah Yusof has requested the public to keep him in their prayers, expressing hope for a successful surgery and full recovery, allowing him to resume his duties. They have also conveyed their deepest appreciation and gratitude to everyone for their prayers, support, and concern during this period.
