Kuala Linggi to Receive One Telco Tower and a NADI This Year

Kuala Linggi: The Kuala Linggi state constituency is set to receive a telecommunications tower and a National Information Distribution Centre (NADI) this year. State Science, Technology, Innovation, and Digital Communication Committee chairman, Datuk Fairul Nizam Roslan, announced that the tower will address poor internet coverage in the Teluk Gong area, and the NADI will be located in Kampung Bukit Darat.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Datuk Fairul Nizam stated, “I will follow up on this matter with the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission to ensure the tower is completed this year,” after the launch of the representative for the people programme, officiated by Chief Minister Datuk Seri Ab Rauf Yusoh at Sekolah Kebangsaan Othman Shawal in Kuala Linggi today.

Fairul Nizam highlighted that the state government has allocated RM500,000 to provide free internet access in two locations within the constituency. Additionally, the Federal government approved nine projects for Melaka last year.
