In a post on X today, Nga, who oversees the Solid Waste Management and Public Cleansing Corporation (SWCorp), expressed disappointment with some individuals who littered during rallies.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Nga stated, ‘Under the MADANI government, we support peaceful assemblies, but we urge participants to maintain cleanliness,’ highlighting the efforts SWCorp is making to address the waste issue. The minister emphasized that the continuous efforts by SWCorp are crucial in managing the aftermath of public gatherings.

Nga also pointed out that littering could tarnish the country’s image, urging citizens to be more conscious of their actions during such events. The minister’s comments underscore the government’s commitment to promoting environmental responsibility alongside the right to peaceful assembly.
