KPKT Launches 322nd Recreational Park in Teluk Intan

Teluk Intan:The Ministry of Housing and Local Government (KPKT) has launched its 322nd MADANI Recreational Park (TRM) at Bandar PR1MA Teluk Intan as part of its ongoing community well-being agenda.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Minister Nga Kor Ming stated that the ministry is progressing towards its goal of establishing 1,000 TRMs over a ten-year period. This year, 110 TRMs are being developed by the KPKT through the National Landscape Department, with 12 completed and 98 still under construction. The minister expressed hope that the remaining projects would be finished by the end of the year.

The newly opened park in Teluk Intan includes a variety of facilities such as a 0.40-hectare recreational lake, a 300-metre jogging and walking path, and courts for pickleball and basketball. Additionally, it features a children's playground, fitness stations, a reflexology path, a gazebo, restrooms, and 84 parking spaces.

PR1MA Group CEO Brian Iskandar Zulkarim emphasized the importance of public and recreational spaces in supporting community needs. He stressed that quality housing development should encompass the entire living ecosystem, promoting health and social interaction.
