KMJG 2025 Convoy To Tour Three Districts In Melaka Starting July 30

Melaka: The Kembara Merdeka Jalur Gemilang (KMJG) 2025 convoy will travel to three districts in Melaka over two days, starting July 30, to spark the patriotic spirit in the lead-up to the National Day celebration. State Science, Technology, Innovation and Digital Communication Committee chairman Datuk Fairul Nizam Roslan announced that Melaka will receive the Jalur Gemilang from Johor on that day in Jasin, before the 68-vehicle convoy proceeds to Melaka Tengah.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, from Melaka Tengah, the convoy, expected to be joined by around 100 participants, will continue to Alor Gajah, where flags will be distributed to the public to enliven this year’s National Month celebration. This announcement came after a KMJG 2025 Melaka-level working committee coordination meeting chaired by Fairul Nizam, which was held at the Melaka Information Department (JaPen) office. The meeting was also attended by JaPen’s director, Ab Rasil Hajatil.

Meanwhile, Fairul Nizam stated that on the second day, the convoy, comprising various government agencies and community members from across the state, will begin their journey from Alor Gajah to hand over the Jalur Gemilang to the Negeri Sembilan KMJG 2025 convoy leader in Rembau. He emphasized that despite the convoy’s short stay in Melaka, the priority is to foster a strong sense of unity and patriotism among Malaysians during the National Month celebration. He also encouraged the people of Melaka to come out, welcome, and celebrate the convoy along the routes, which will soon be finalized and announced.

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim is scheduled to officiate the launch and flag-off of the KMJG 2025 at Dataran Tanjung Emas in Muar, Johor, on July 27. The annual convoy, organized by the Ministry of Communications with JaPen as the coordinator, will travel across Peninsular Malaysia, Sabah, Sarawak, and Labuan as part of the government’s initiative to ignite the spirit of the National Month celebration.
