KLCI Futures Open Lower, Tracking Softer Cash Market

Kuala lumpur: FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures opened lower on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives on Tuesday, tracking the softer cash market. At 9.30 am, the May 2026 contract fell 6.0 points to 1,710.50, the June 2026 contract slipped 7.5 points to 1,707.50, the September 2026 contract dropped 9.0 points to 1,687.50, and the December 2026 contract shed 9.5 points to 1,688.0.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, turnover stood at 15,651 lots, while open interest totalled 53,736 contracts. At 9.48 am, the FBM KLCI index was down 2.62 points at 1,705.88, compared with Monday's close of 1,708.50.
