Accra:The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended mostly lower on Thursday. At the close, the October 2026 contract decreased by 3.5 points to 1,618.00, the November 2026 contract fell two points to 1,620.00, and the December 2026 contract slipped 16 points to 1,611.00.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the March 2027 contract, however, saw an increase, jumping 12.5 points to 1,624.50. Turnover rose to 6,725 lots from 6,458 lots the previous day, while open interest slightly decreased to 45,597 contracts from 45,652 contracts.

By 5 pm, the FBM KLCI itself had slid by 4.02 points, or 0.24 percent, to 1,623.70, down from Wednesday's close of 1,627.72.
