Kuala lumpur: The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives closed higher today, reflecting the movements in the underlying cash market.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, the December 2025 and January 2026 contracts increased by 3.0 points, closing at 1,679.0 and 1,683.0, respectively. Meanwhile, the March 2026 and June 2026 contracts gained 4.0 points, finishing at 1,668.5 each.
The turnover decreased to 23,676 lots from 54,048 on Monday, with the open interest reducing to 59,528 contracts compared to the previous 90,130 contracts.
At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI itself rose 3.54 points to 1,684.53 from Monday's close of 1,680.99.
