Kuala lumpur: The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contracts on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives showed gains in early trading on Monday. At 9.43 am, the September 2026 and October 2026 contracts increased by 3.5 points each to 1,686.0 and 1,685.0, respectively. Meanwhile, the December 2026 contract climbed 4.5 points to 1,690.5, and March 2027 rose by 2.4 points to 1,674.50.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, turnover reached 976 contracts, with open interest totaling 39,326 contracts. By 10.02 am, the FBM KLCI had risen 2.76 points to 1,710.86, compared to Friday's close of 1,708.10.
