Kuala lumpur: The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended higher today in line with the underlying cash market's performance.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, the June 2026 and July 2026 contracts were up by 20.5 points, settling at 1,683.0 and 1,684.5, respectively. In addition, the September 2026 contract increased by 22 points to 1,665.5, while the December 2026 contract gained 19.5 points, reaching 1,666.5.
Turnover saw a decline, registering 11,867 lots compared to 17,811 lots on Wednesday. Open interest also reduced to 40,544 contracts from the previous count of 47,378 contracts.
By 5 pm, the FBM KLCI experienced an increase of 10.52 points, reaching 1,683.26 from Wednesday's close of 1,672.74.
