Kuala Lampur:Selangor: Klanggroup Development Sdn Bhd has completed the handover of two significant developments in Selangor, with a total gross development value of RM1.74 billion, by September 2026.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, the projects include the fully sold Excellent Technology Park (ETP) @ KIIP Kapar (Phase 1) and ETP @ KIIP Jenjarom. Executive Director Danny Ong noted that more than half of the units are already operational following the handover, indicating that businesses are purchasing these factories for immediate use.
Ong emphasized the importance of reaching vacant possession, but stressed that the company's efforts continue beyond the initial handover. He stated that as businesses grow and supply chains evolve, there is an ongoing need for industrial spaces that support long-term operations. Klanggroup aims to meet these needs by developing factories in strategic locations that facilitate business growth in Selangor's industrial regions.
ETP @ KIIP Kapar, a 42.42-hectare freehold development, boasts a GDV of RM1 billion and includes 170 semi-detached and cluster semi-detached factory units, accessible via the West Coast Expressway. ETP @ KIIP Jenjarom, with a GDV of RM733 million, covers 51.79 hectares and offers 162 factory units and 28 industrial land lots, with access to both the West Coast Expressway and the South Klang Valley Expressway.
The developments are equipped to support diverse industrial operations with features such as a 400-amp power supply, floor loading capacity of three tonnes per square metre, 40-foot eave height, and concrete driveways. Businesses in these projects span various sectors, including logistics, e-commerce, automotive products, furniture, and building materials.
With Malaysia's New Industrial Master Plan 2030 focusing on enhancing industrial clusters for regional growth, the completion of these projects is timely. As of September 2026, ETP @ KIIP Kapar (Phase 1) has 82 occupied units, while ETP @ KIIP Jenjarom has 113 occupied factory units and 28 handed-over industrial land lots.
