King Receives Credentials Of 12 New Foreign Envoys

Kuala lumpur: His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia, received credentials of 12 newly appointed foreign envoys to Malaysia in a simple ceremony at Istana Negara today. The event marked the official start of diplomatic duties for the envoys in Malaysia.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the newly appointed envoys include Hungarian Ambassador Dr. Sandor Sipos, Bangladesh High Commissioner Manjurul Karim Khan Chowdhury, and Senegalese Ambassador Abdoul Aziz Loum. Palestinian Ambassador Jehad Fouad Mabrouk Alqedra was also among those who presented their credentials.

In addition, representatives from Slovakia, Lebanon, Uruguay, Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, France, Djibouti, and Portugal were present. These included Peter Spisiak from Slovakia, Maher Kheir from Lebanon, Diego Pelufo Acosta y Lara from Uruguay, Osamah Dakhel R. Al-Ahmadi from Saudi Arabia, and Raden Mohammad Iman Hascarya Kusumo from Indonesia. Marc Abensour from France, Ibrahim Bileh Doualeh from Djibouti, and Luiz Manuel de Magalhes de Albuquerque Veloso from Portugal also presented their credentials.

Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan and Foreign Ministry secretary-general Datuk Seri Amran Mohamed Zin were present at the ceremony, underscoring the significance of this diplomatic event.
