Khazanah’s Dana Impak Mobilises RM2.6 Billion to Support Malaysian Firms

Kuala Lampur:Khazanah Nasional Bhd's Dana Impak has mobilised RM2.6 billion in investments as of December 31, 2025, supporting around 130 Malaysian and Malaysian-linked companies and more than 4,200 talents.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Khazanah's Dana Impak Report, launched today, highlights its role in attracting capital and strategic partners to bolster the growth of Malaysian companies and entrepreneurs. Of the RM905 million deployed into these companies, RM433 million of external capital was attracted, equivalent to 48 sen for every RM1 invested by Khazanah. Furthermore, 64 percent of the supported talents were in skilled roles.

Khazanah's managing director, Datuk Amirul Feisal Wan Zahir, emphasized that Malaysia's resilience increasingly relies on the strength of its domestic firms, particularly as global markets become more complex and capital allocation more selective. The progress of Dana Impak reflects a collective effort, involving the government, investors, fund managers, and industry partners to strengthen Malaysian companies, enhance their investability, and provide access to deeper capital pools.

Looking to the future, Amirul Feisal stated that Dana Impak would continue to build capabilities and talent within strategic ecosystems. Under the Ministry of Finance's GEAR-uP initiative, Khazanah aims to mobilise further capital and partnerships to help Malaysian companies and entrepreneurs expand and capture a greater share of the value they create globally.

Khazanah outlined that Dana Impak combines catalytic capital with capacity-building, partnerships, and networks to reinforce Malaysian firms and develop strategic ecosystems. Since 2024, Dana Impak has focused on a programmatic approach across three key areas: the venture capital and startup ecosystem, mid-tier companies, and semiconductor and advanced manufacturing.
