Ipoh: The Malaysian Army is set to conduct Exercise KERIS STRIKE 2025 in partnership with the United States Army and the Australian Army over a period of 14 days, commencing next Thursday. This military exercise will be held across several key locations in the state of Perak.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the operation will continue until July 30, encompassing areas such as Ipoh, Sungai Siput, Kuala Kangsar, and Lenggong. Exercise KERIS STRIKE is an annual event aimed at bolstering joint operational capabilities and fostering stronger military relations with participating nations.

The initiative is designed to enhance the Malaysian Army’s readiness in dealing with regional security challenges. Residents, especially those in Ipoh and Kuala Kangsar, have been advised to remain calm and not to be disturbed by the sight of foreign troops, military vehicles, convoys, or other military actions during the exercise period.
