Bachok:Kelantan University graduates are being encouraged to shift their focus from seeking employment to creating job opportunities by leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) and the digital economy, as these sectors continue to transform the traditional employment landscape.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, Kelantan Sultan Sultan Muhammad V emphasized that graduates from Universiti Malaysia Kelantan (UMK) should perceive these changes as opportunities to explore entrepreneurship and become catalysts for new business models and job creation.
The Sultan highlighted the importance of the entrepreneurial values taught at UMK, which should inspire graduates to become job creators rather than merely job seekers. He urged them to master the digital economy and smart technology to innovate new business models, advance cross-border e-commerce, and modernize local market supply chains.
Furthermore, the Sultan stated that UMK must lead in driving artificial intelligence while upholding values of ethics, integrity, and trustworthiness. His Royal Highness's address was delivered by Tengku Mahkota Kelantan Tengku Muhammad Fakhry Petra during UMK's 16th Convocation Ceremony at Dewan Tuanku Canselor, UMK Bachok.
