Kelantan: Efforts to cultivate innovation among educators in Unity kindergartens (Tabika) and childcare centres (Taska) in Kelantan are being further strengthened through the use of artificial intelligence (AI). Kelantan Department of National Unity and National Integration (JPNIN) director Zarina Zakaria said AI technology provides opportunities for educators to develop more creative, interactive and effective teaching methods, thereby enhancing children's learning experiences.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Zarina Zakaria emphasized the importance of integrating AI into early childhood education to keep it relevant with current technological advancements. She highlighted the necessity for creative, innovative, and high-quality teaching aids to meet the needs of future generations. Zarina spoke at the Kelantan state-level Teaching and Learning (PdP) Innovation Competition Using AI for Unity kindergartens and childcare centres.

A total of 14 groups participated in the competition, showcasing their innovations that utilized AI to produce engaging and interactive PdP materials suitable for contemporary educational needs. The competition aims to inspire the creation of advanced teaching aids using AI, aligning with the aspirations of education digitalization and efforts to enhance early childhood education.

Zarina stated that such competitions not only recognize educators' creativity but also provide a platform for sharing ideas and best practices, benefiting all early childhood education institutions under JPNIN.
