Alor setar: The Kedah Regional Development Authority (KEDA) has marked its 45th year as a pivotal force in rural transformation since its establishment in 1981. Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi highlighted the agency's enduring role in improving rural communities in Kedah.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, Ahmad Zahid emphasized KEDA's journey over more than four decades, noting the agency's key achievements and the dedication required to transform rural landscapes. He shared his thoughts on Facebook, underscoring the dual focus on worldly and spiritual aspects in KEDA's development initiatives.
Ahmad Zahid, who also serves as the Rural and Regional Development Minister, praised the sincerity of KEDA's personnel, attributing the agency's success to their close connection with rural communities. He expressed his hope that KEDA would maintain its commitment to being a caring and responsive organization, crucial in driving rural development.
In his message, Ahmad Zahid extended his 45th-anniversary greetings to KEDA staff and expressed optimism about the agency's future. He reaffirmed KEDA's importance as a key institution in advancing rural areas and regions across the country.
