Junainah Sahat Emphasizes Economic Growth and Job Opportunities in Taboh Naning Campaign

Melaka:Pakatan Harapan (PH) candidate Junainah Sahat, widely known as Ajue, has outlined her primary focus on economic development and job creation in the Taboh Naning state seat, should she be elected in the upcoming 16th Melaka state election.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Junainah, 41, sees potential in transforming Taboh Naning into an entrepreneurship and logistics hub due to its strategic location near the Simpang Ampat Toll Plaza. This positioning could be pivotal in attracting investment and generating employment for local residents.

Junainah has identified small industries, particularly those in food manufacturing, agriculture, and logistics, as key areas for development to enhance employment opportunities for the area's youth. She expressed a desire for local young people to find job opportunities within their own region rather than relocating to other states.

In her plans, Junainah also emphasizes the need for rural development, including areas such as Lubok China and Ayer Molek, which she believes require improvements in facilities and economic prospects. Additionally, she aims to bolster the economic opportunities of the Orang Asli community in Kampung Bukit Payung through targeted entrepreneurship training and business initiatives.

Junainah, a mother of six, also advocates for the establishment of recreational and sports facilities for youth, including the Orang Asli youth, to foster greater community involvement. Addressing local issues, she highlighted recurring floods in Brisu as a critical concern needing a comprehensive solution linked to the drainage system and river channel management.

In the election, Junainah will contend with incumbent Taboh Naning assemblyman Datuk Zulkiflee Mohd Zin of Barisan Nasional (BN). The polling is scheduled for November 14, with early voting taking place on November 10.
