Seremban: The leadership of the Village Development and Security Committees (JPKK) in Negeri Sembilan have been reminded to practice high integrity in all administrative matters, leaving no room for abuse of power, favouritism, or personal interest.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Negeri Sembilan Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Aminuddin Harun emphasized that JPKK Chairmen, Secretaries, and Treasurers must ensure that the distribution of aid, implementation of programmes, and financial management are carried out transparently, fairly, and in accordance with regulations. He stated that any misappropriation, abuse of power, or breach of integrity would not be tolerated, and he would not hesitate to involve the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) to take stern action, regardless of rank or position. The state government considers the people's trust as its most valuable asset, which must be preserved through clean, transparent, and fair administration.

Aminuddin further stated that the state government will not compromise with individuals found involved in integrity issues, highlighting the importance of adhering to principles of accountability for the benefit of the people. In addition, an allocation of over RM500,000 has been provided as financial contributions for JPKK leadership in conjunction with the Chinese New Year and Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebrations.

He mentioned that a total of 1,320 recipients from 440 villages across the state will receive incentives, which include RM500 for JPKK Chairmen, RM300 for Secretaries, and RM200 for Treasurers. Aminuddin expressed hope that this contribution would enhance the joy of the Chinese New Year and Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebrations for the beneficiaries.
