Kuala Lumpur:The Road Transport Department (JPJ) will cease collaboration with MyEG Sdn Bhd and Zetrix AI Bhd under the MYEG Group, suspending their roles as collection agents starting from 1201 am on October 5.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, JPJ director-general Datuk Aedy Fadly Ramli announced that this decision was made after assessing the compliance of both companies with their contractual terms and conditions, highlighting unresolved obligations.
As a result, all services previously accessible through MYEG Group channels will be discontinued. However, JPJ has assured the public that its services will remain available through official and alternative channels.
Bookings for the computerised driving theory test (KPP01) made via MYEG before October 5 will still be honored. After this date, new bookings must be made directly at KPP test centers located in driving institutes nationwide.
Additionally, for non-Malaysians needing to pay traffic summonses at the Malaysia-Singapore border, JPJ mobile units will be stationed at the Sultan Abu Bakar Complex and Bangunan Sultan Iskandar in Johor, operating from 8 am to 10 pm.
Aedy Fadly emphasized the importance of using official channels for secure and efficient transactions. He reiterated JPJ's commitment to ensuring that all services continue smoothly, maintaining transparency and accountability in all transactions.
