Johor bahru: The Regent of Johor, Tunku Mahkota Ismail, today reminded state assemblymen to carry out their duties responsibly, uphold the trust placed in them by the people and ensure that 'Johor remains Johor.'
According to BERNAMA News Agency, His Royal Highness urged all assemblymen to remain focused on their responsibilities so that every policy and decision delivers a meaningful impact to the people. Tunku Mahkota Ismail emphasized the importance of attending to their duties not just in presence but in ensuring that every policy and decision benefits the people.
Tunku Mahkota Ismail encouraged assemblymen to maintain decorum, engage in mature deliberations, and uphold the spirit of service. He expressed confidence that with continued effort, Johor would remain progressive, respected, and admired.
His Royal Highness also reminded the assemblymen that the Johor State Legislative Assembly is a noble institution that serves as a platform to formulate policies, seek solutions, and champion the welfare of the people. He highlighted the importance of continuing the good work that has been done and improving where necessary to ensure that every action truly benefits Bangsa Johor.
Earlier, Tunku Mahkota Ismail expressed appreciation for the orderly, respectful, and well-conducted assembly sitting, describing it as a reflection of democratic maturity and the evolving political culture in the state. He also called on all parties to pray for Johor's continued progress, peace, and prosperity, and for the state to be safeguarded from any calamities and blessed with continued well-being.
