Johor Polls: PH’s Saiful Nizam Campaigns On ‘Endau’s Voice To Putrajaya’ Mission

Endau: Ensuring that the voices of the Endau community are better heard by the federal government is among the key pillars of Pakatan Harapan (PH) candidate Saiful Nizam Samat's campaign, as he promotes his 'Suara Endau ke Putrajaya' (Endau's Voice to Putrajaya) mission in the upcoming Johor polls.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Saiful Nizam stated that this approach would help expedite the coordination of various development plans, ultimately bringing greater benefits to the local community. He questioned his choice of constituency, explaining, 'Why didn't I choose Iskandar Puteri or Kota Iskandar? Because we want our voice to be aligned with the federal government, making it easier to communicate and coordinate.'

Commenting on the campaign, which has five days remaining, Saiful Nizam said the response from voters in Endau during the first week had been very encouraging across all age groups, including youths and senior citizens. He highlighted that the campaign was being carried out aggressively through a combination of conventional and digital approaches to ensure its message reached voters more effectively throughout the campaign period.

Saiful Nizam shared that the campaign also featured a specially composed theme song with a light-hearted and catchy tune as a way to attract voters, particularly young people. He mentioned his plans to visit several polling districts, including Orang Asli settlements, as key locations in the coming days.

On the contest for the Endau state seat, Saiful Nizam noted he was up against Barisan Nasional (BN) candidate Alwiyah Talib, the two-term incumbent. However, he remained optimistic, choosing instead to focus on the strength of his campaign machinery and the realistic commitments he was offering to voters. He urged Endau voters living outside the constituency, including those working in Singapore, the Klang Valley, and other regions, to return home to fulfil their civic responsibility on polling day this Saturday and vote for change.

The Endau state seat is witnessing a four-cornered contest involving Saiful Nizam, Alwiyah, Perikatan Nasional (PN) candidate Hasnul Hakimi Hussien, and Jati Awang of the Parti Orang Asli Malaysia (ASLI). The Johor state election will be held on July 11, while early voting is scheduled for tomorrow (July 7).
