Johor: Johor Barisan Nasional (BN) is set to convene its state-level convention on June 14, aiming to fortify the coalition's unity and strategic direction. This announcement was made by Johor Menteri Besar and state BN chairman, Datuk Onn Hafiz Ghazi, following a crucial meeting held today.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, the meeting was pivotal in refining strategies and bolstering collaboration among the coalition's component parties. Datuk Onn Hafiz emphasized that the gathering outlined a structured approach to advance the Maju Johor agenda, focusing on the prosperity of the people and the comprehensive development of the state.
The meeting also acknowledged the official announcement by BN chairman Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi regarding the reintegration of the People's Progressive Party (MyPPP) into the coalition. In response, Onn Hafiz reiterated Johor BN's commitment to enhancing cooperation with MyPPP, aiming to strengthen unity and streamline the coalition's operations across Johor.
In a recent development, Onn Hafiz declared that BN intends to contest all 56 State Legislative Assembly seats in the forthcoming state election.
