Tokyo: The Japan Prize Foundation hosted an award ceremony at the New National Theatre in Tokyo’s Shibuya Ward to honor outstanding scientists for their contributions to global science and technology. According to BERNAMA News Agency, the ceremony recognized Russell Dean Dupuis, Ph.D. from the USA, for his achievements in the field of Materials Science and Production. Carlos M. Duarte, Ph.D. from Spain, was honored for his work in Biological Production, Ecology, and Environment. Each laureate received a prize of 1 million Yen, accompanied by a certificate and a medal, acknowledging their innovative contributions to peace and prosperity for humanity.
