Kuala lumpur: JandT Express Malaysia has reaffirmed its commitment to sustainable development following the release of JandT Express Group's 2025 Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Report, which outlines global progress in green operations, workforce development, and social responsibility.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, JandT Express continues to advance its ESG transformation through artificial intelligence-enabled logistics optimization, green transportation solutions, and workforce development initiatives across its network. Building on these efforts, JandT Express Malaysia has implemented a range of local ESG initiatives focusing on environmental innovation, talent development, and community support.
The company has introduced a GPS-based intelligent fleet monitoring system that tracks vehicle performance in real time and analyzes driving behaviors such as idling, harsh braking, and acceleration. This system helps reduce fuel consumption and carbon emissions while enhancing road safety and operational efficiency.
On the social front, the company has strengthened customer trust through a fast-track claims process for lost or damaged parcels, enabling compensation within 24 hours with simplified procedures for smaller claims. In terms of talent development, JandT Express Malaysia has partnered with Advanced Technology Training Centre (ADTEC) Kuala Lumpur to bridge the gap between education and industry through a truck practical training program that provides students with hands-on experience using its logistics vehicles and equipment.
The company also contributed professional tools worth approximately RM20,000 to support training facilities, reinforcing its commitment to nurturing future logistics talent. JandT Express Malaysia also plays an active role in supporting communities, particularly during times of crisis. Following the floods in Kelantan on December 5, 2025, JandT Express Malaysia partnered with TikTok Shop and Mercury Malaysia Basecamp Kelantan to deliver essential relief supplies, providing full end-to-end logistics support to affected communities.
JandT Express Malaysia public affairs and branding manager Steve Yap stated that the company is also working with Majlis Kebajikan Malaysia and Sime Darby Berhad to provide free logistics support for the transportation of essential aid supplies to affected areas, including Kampung Bahagia in Sandakan. JandT Express Malaysia remains committed to leveraging its logistics capabilities to create a positive social impact for communities across the country.
