Ipoh:The Sultan Azlan Shah Institute for Health Training (ILKKM SAS) is actively monitoring the condition of 11 trainees and a driver who sustained minor injuries following an accident on Jalan Sultan Iskandar this morning.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the Health Ministry (MOH) has stated that ILKKM SAS management is ensuring the welfare and needs of all those involved are being addressed. The victims were examined and treated at the Emergency and Trauma Department of Raja Permaisuri Bainun Hospital in Ipoh, with further updates to be provided as officially confirmed by the authorities.

The accident occurred at the junction of Jalan Sultan Iskandar and Jalan Sultan Yussof, involving a MOH van transporting trainees from ILKKM Tanjung Rambutan to their practical training. Ipoh district police chief ACP Muhammad Najib Hamzah indicated that the van was en route from Tanjung Rambutan to Buntong Health Clinic when the incident took place around 7:25 am.

The collision also involved another vehicle, with the exact cause still under investigation. Preliminary reports suggest the ILKKM SAS vehicle was allegedly struck at a traffic light junction. An eight-second video circulating online showed trainees in MOH uniforms near the vehicles as an ambulance arrived to provide assistance.
