Kedah: Five areas in Kedah are at the alert level (Level 1) of the hot weather situation in Peninsular Malaysia, according to the Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia). The affected areas are Pokok Sena, Pendang, Baling, Padang Terap, and Kulim.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, MetMalaysia reported that the alert level indicates a daily maximum temperature of 35-37 degrees Celsius for at least three consecutive days. This information was shared in a Facebook post by MetMalaysia.
