Boston: HCLTech, a global technology company, has announced its partnership with the MIT Media Lab, a research and innovation ecosystem at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. This collaboration aims to foster advancements in applied artificial intelligence (AI).
According to BERNAMA News Agency, HCLTech’s Chief Technology Officer and Head of Ecosystems, Vijay Guntur, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration, emphasizing the potential for co-developing AI innovations with real-world impact through engagement with MIT Media Lab’s esteemed faculty and researchers.
MIT Media Lab’s Executive Director, Jessica Rosenworcel, highlighted HCLTech’s dedication to applied AI, which complements the Lab’s mission to create technologies that empower humanity. Rosenworcel anticipates that the partnership will lead to responsible, human-centered innovation in AI and other fields.
The engagement underscores HCLTech’s commitment to advancing AI and other emerging technologies like quantum computing.
