Hakim Danish Records Best Finish So Far At Catalan GP

Catalonia: Malaysian Moto3 rider Muhammad Hakim Danish Ramli finished seventh at the Catalan Grand Prix at Catalunya Circuit in Spain, his best finish so far after his tenth placed finish at the Brazil and French Grand Prix.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the 18-year-old started in 10th place and had a good race, even managing to occupy the top three spots during the race but a mistake at the end stopped the AEON Credit-MTHelmets-MSI rider from securing a better finish.

The race was won by Moto3 overall leader Spaniard Maximo Quiles of CFMoto Aspar Team with a time of 32 minutes 28.96 seconds (s), while his compatriot Alvaro Carpe from Red Bull KTM Ajo finished second just 0.094 s behind the winner, and David Munoz of Liqui Moly Dynavolt Intact GP finished third, (+0.098 s).

After six races, Hakim Danish is now 11th in overall standings with 27 points and will race at the Italian Grand Prix, from May 29 to 31.
