Kuantan: Government agencies, enforcement bodies, mosques, suraus, and community organisations in the Indera Mahkota parliamentary constituency and Kuantan received donations of sacrificial cattle in conjunction with Hari Raya Aidiladha here today.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim's political secretary, Datuk Ahmad Farhan Fauzi, stated that the contributions aimed to facilitate the smooth execution of this year's korban rituals while strengthening ukhuwah, or brotherhood, within the community.

'This annual programme reflects our continued commitment to reinforcing the values of welfare, nurturing the spirit of gotong-royong, and reaching out to communities at the grassroots level,' Ahmad Farhan mentioned in a Facebook post.

The donations were officially handed over at the Sacrificial Cattle Donation Presentation Ceremony for the Indera Mahkota parliamentary constituency and Kuantan, held at Masjid Tengku Abdullah Al Haj in Chengal Lempong.

Ahmad Farhan also took the opportunity to express his appreciation to the mosque management, participating agencies, volunteers, and donors for their support and involvement in the event.
