Gold Futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives End Higher, Following US COMEX Performance

Gold futures on bursa malaysia derivatives: Gold futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended higher today, tracking the steady performance of gold futures on the US Commodity Exchange (COMEX).

According to BERNAMA News Agency, at the close, the spot-month September 2026 contract increased to US$4,409.10 per troy ounce from US$4,404.70 per troy ounce on Tuesday, while the October 2026 contract gained to US$4,424.50 per troy ounce from US$4,420.10 per troy ounce yesterday. The November 2026 contract improved to US$4,438.80 per troy ounce from US$4,434.70 per troy ounce, while the December 2026, February 2027, and April 2027 contracts rose to US$4,446.60 per troy ounce from US$4,442.50 per troy ounce previously.

Trading volume saw a decline, decreasing to 213 lots from 296 lots yesterday, while open interest reduced to 266 contracts from 346 contracts previously. Meanwhile, physical gold was fixed at US$4,399.10 per troy ounce at the London Bullion Market Association's afternoon fix on September 8, 2026.
