Gas Supply Fully Normalised: PGB Restores Safe, Reliable Operations Across Key Areas

Kuala lumpur: PETRONAS Gas Berhad (PGB) has successfully completed the gas-in process for its newly constructed bypass pipeline on 1 July 2025, marking the full restoration of gas supply to key areas in Batu Tiga, Shah Alam, and Connaught Bridge. The operation began at 9:30 am with the safe introduction of gas at the Mainline Valve Stations in Puchong and Batu Tiga, followed by controlled gas-in at Putra Heights at 1:00 pm. Flow levels were gradually increased from 10% to 100% in phases and fully stabilised by 12:00 midnight, following strict safety procedures.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the successful completion of this process ensures that the affected regions now have uninterrupted gas supply, allowing businesses and residents to resume their normal activities. PGB’s commitment to adhering to stringent safety measures throughout the operation underscores the company’s dedication to maintaining a reliable energy supply.

The completion of the bypass pipeline project is a significant milestone for PGB, aimed at enhancing the resilience of the gas supply network.
