The Prime Minister stressed that freedom of speech and differing views are indeed guaranteed in this country, but they must not override the interests of unity and the rule of law.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Anwar emphasized that Malaysia will only continue to be peaceful and prosperous when all parties firmly uphold the values of mutual respect, comply with the rules and reject any actions that undermine national harmony, as stated in a Facebook post.
