KUALA LUMPUR: Fomema Sdn Bhd (Fomema) is providing relief assistance to support employers of foreign workers and service providers impacted by the floods through its Fomema Flood Relief Programme (FRP).
According to BERNAMA News Agency, Fomema, in a statement issued today, said that the FRP includes a 30-day extension for the validity of the Fomema Medical Examination Form and online medical result transmission. This extension applies to foreign workers registered between Nov 15 and Dec 15, as well as service providers with forms expiring between Dec 15, 2024, and Jan 14, 2025.
It said that the extension is available for employers who register at Fomema panel clinics in Kelantan, Terengganu, Pahang, Kedah, Perlis, and selected flood-affected areas in Johor, Melaka, Perak, Negeri Sembilan, and Selangor.
Fomema chief executive officer Dr Mohd Afiq Farhan Md Hanif, in the same statement, said Fomema understand the immense challenges they face, and this small gesture is their way of easing their burden during
these trying times.
“Fomema deeply sympathises with those who have been impacted by the recent floods. We hope it provides some measure of relief and reassurance,” he said.
He also reiterated Fomema’s commitment to supporting employers and remains steadfast in its mission to being a trusted partner in foreign worker medical examinations, offering practical solutions and support during critical moments.
