First Pride Malaysia Joins Selangor FC as Main Snack Partner.


KUALA LUMPUR: Selangor FC have formed a partnership with First Pride Malaysia as the club’s main snack partner, aimed at enhancing the stadium experience for fans. Through this one-year partnership with the brand under Tyson Foods Malaysia, First Pride’s nuggets and various other products will be sold at FAS Food, located at the Petaling Jaya City Council (MBPJ) Stadium, during all matches of the Red Giants.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Selangor FC Chief Executive Officer Dr Johan Kamal Hamidon stated that the partnership is not just about food but also about providing fans with high-quality halal protein nuggets. He expressed excitement about bringing innovative food choices to the Selangor FC community. Meanwhile, First Pride Malaysia’s Marketing Director Freddie Wong expressed confidence that the investment in the club will be beneficial through various initiatives implemented by Selangor FC, including youth development to nurture the next generation of stars.

Wong highlighted the unique ability of
football to bring people together, noting that moments like Faisal Halim scoring a goal are shared experiences for Selangor fans, whether they are watching at home or live in the stadium. He further mentioned that this collaboration with Tyson Foods Malaysia, which has been operating in the country for over 30 years, is part of their ongoing efforts to strengthen ties with local football and Selangor FC supporters.

The Red Giants are currently in second place in the Super League with 29 points after 14 matches. However, they faced elimination in the Round of 16 of the Malaysia Cup after a narrow 2-3 aggregate loss to Sri Pahang FC.
