FBM KLCI Futures Show Gains on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives

Kuala Lumpur:The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contracts on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives opened on an upward trend, reflecting gains in the underlying cash market.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, as of 9.43 am, the October 2026 and November 2026 contracts each increased by 7.0 points to reach 1,629.50 and 1,630.0, respectively. Additionally, the December 2026 contract rose by 8.5 points to 1,637.50, while the March 2027 contract climbed 6.5 points to 1,620.0.

The turnover was reported at 1,306 lots, with open interest amounting to 42,323 contracts. By 9.53 am, the FBM KLCI had strengthened by 6.15 points, reaching 1,637.02 compared to last Friday's closing of 1,630.87.
