Kuala Lumpur: The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives showed a decrease in early trading today. At 9.59 am, the March 2025 futures dropped by 12.0 points to 1,536.5, while the April 2025 futures decreased by 14.0 points to 1,537.5. Additionally, the June 2025 futures contracted by 13.0 points to 1,540.0, and the September 2025 futures slipped by 13.5 points to 1,526.5.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the turnover at this time stood at 2,007 lots, with open interest recorded at 35,151 contracts. At 10.07 am, the FBM KLCI itself experienced a decline, falling by 10.74 points to 1,560.65 from the previous day’s close of 1,571.39.
