Kuala lumpur: The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contracts on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives opened lower on Monday.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, at 9.50 am, the September 2026 contract declined by 2.0 points to 1,664.5, while the October 2026 contract decreased by 2.5 points to 1,664.0. The December 2026 contract registered a decline of 3.0 points to 1,670.0, and March 2027 futures dropped by 4.0 points to 1,653.0.

The turnover at this time was recorded at 1,745 lots, with open interest totaling 41,721 contracts. In the broader market, the FBM KLCI index itself eased by 1.57 points to 1,688.72 as of 9.56 am, compared to Friday's close of 1,686.74.
