Kuala Lumpur: The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives were lower in early trading today: The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives experienced a decline in the early trading session.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, at 9.18 am, the February 2025 futures contract fell by 4.0 points to 1,585.5. The March 2025, June 2025, and September 2025 contracts also saw a decrease, each declining by 3.5 points to 1,564.5, 1,567.5, and 1,555.0, respectively.

The turnover for these futures stood at 3,714 lots, with an open interest recorded at 57,140 contracts. Furthermore, the benchmark FBM KLCI saw a decrease of 1.01 points, settling at 1,587.70 after 40 minutes of trading.
