Kuala Lampur:At 9.30 am, the FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contracts on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives showed a decline, influenced by a weaker underlying cash market.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the September 2026 contract decreased by 6.5 points to 1,635.0, the October 2026 contract dropped 5.5 points to 1,636.0, the December 2026 contract slipped nine points to 1,641.5, and the March 2027 contract fell 11 points to 1,623.5.

The turnover was recorded at 1,879 lots, with an open interest of 39,052 contracts. By 9.34 am, the FBM KLCI had declined by 5.67 points to 1,645.50, compared to the previous day's close of 1,651.17.
