Kuala Lumpur:The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contracts on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives began the day with a decline.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, at 9.42 am, the October 2026 contract decreased by four points to 1,614.0, and the November 2026 contract dropped 4.5 points to 1,615.0. Additionally, the December 2026 contract fell three points to 1,621.50, and the March 2027 contract decreased 4.5 points to 1,606.50.

Turnover was recorded at 1,765 lots, with open interest amounting to 42,148 contracts. By 10.04 am, the FBM KLCI itself had decreased 5.38 points to 1,618.32, compared to the previous day's close of 1,623.70.
