Kuala Lumpur: The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended higher today.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the spot-month March 2025 contract added 6.5 points to 1,548.5, while the new month April was at 1,551.5. The June 2025 contract increased by 7.5 points to 1,553.0, and the September 2025 contract gained 8.0 points to 1,540.0.

Turnover decreased to 6,841 lots from 15,185 lots last Friday, and open interest narrowed to 39,368 contracts from the previous 49,479 contracts. At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI eased by 3.31 points or 0.21 percent to 1,571.39, compared to last Friday’s close of 1,574.70.
